Sharing the three soulful Buffets, Meals & snacks that I enjoyed on my Rejuvenating holiday in a Wellness Centre
During a relaxing stay at the INDUS VALLEY AYURVEDIC CENTRE, if there is anything perfectly that complements the soothing Ayurvedic therapies, then that is their soulful Indian food served here. For Breakfast, Lunch & dinner, this centre sets a quaint & satisfying buffet spread. The vegetable based papads, Ragi & Jowar rotis, & sabzis like banana stem Poriyal and Pineapple Gojju make each meal, a very interesting experience. Despite less oil, adequate salt, low spices… these local varieties taste delicious because of the freshness of the ingredients. I especially enjoy the use of local & seasonal fruits & vegetables which are high in nutritional value & promote digestion.
Every day, there's a new array of dishes to enjoy, ensuring you never get bored of the same flavours while maintaining a healthy diet. Dishes like Broken Wheat khichdi, Quinoa khichdi, Millet dosas, Lemon & Kokum Rassam add an intriguing twist to the meals here. Along with the diet, following a routine & regular meal timings is just as important. Thankfully, the restaurant staff takes great care to ensure that we receive the right nutrition, at the right time, based on our specific treatments. Their attention to food combinations and portion control, is beneficial for guests who are here for Panchakarma, weight loss, or disease management. In my experience, for treatments such as stress management or rejuvenation, all dishes are allowed but served in moderation.
The best part of this healthy buffet is the freedom to indulge without guilt, knowing that each dish is designed to support your well-being.
